PANTHERA Base Camp in Kyrgyzstan
(Central Asia)

Situated south of grand Lake Issikul, in the mountains on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Nepal, the Federal Reserve of Sary Tchat Ertash doesn’t let just anyone enter. One must have a scientific visa.

Objectif Sciences International has mastered , on its own, the logistics and tourism information required for its Expeditions in Kyrgyzstan without going through any third party provider. All our activities in the Reserve are always co-organized with the permanent staff of the park, who participate in all of our expeditions. All of this enables us to guarantee an activity 100% dedicated to our scientific and cultural objectives.

The Expeditions in Kyrgyzstan are managed by the Centre for Scientific Living Europe in St. Antheme (Auvergne, France) and take place with accommodation for both sedentary and nomadic activities within the Sary Chat Ertash Federal Reserve.

  • Arrival at Bichkek (capital of the country) : night in yurt or guest house
  • Arrival at the Federeal Reserve : night in a local home or tents, depending on the season and the availability of space, but always a festive occasion.
  • Travel around the Reserve :
    • 2 permanent bases : campers or refuge in tents, simply equipped (stove, windows, insulation…) which are being refurbished by the association
    • Nights in the field : tents
